I love all this! I’ve been looking for a good nurse site for 7 years
(as long as I’ve had my own computer) I think this is it!
I’ve been a pediatric nurse for 24 years. Ten of them in hem/onc, 8 in med/surg & the last 6 in an ER that was designated a level 2 Peds Trauma center 4 years ago.
I’m gonna spend the next few days
remembering some good kid stories
to warm your hearts & maybe attract a few of you new grads & worn out
adult care veterans to nursing experiences unlike any others. I guarantee you…no matter how bad your day may be, how short staffed,
how sick your patients, how frustrated you may be, you will
go home with at least one tender moment to recall. A baby’s smile,
a mother’s thank you, a toddler’s hug or giggle.
I can’t wait to come back tomorrow to read some more blogs & maybe share one of my own.
