That’s so funny! I love the nurse’s response. It sounds like life in the military unit when the new little Lieutenant want the senior enlisted personnel to do things his way. He is not willing to except the fact that despite being enlisted the senior personnel are more prepared and have insight that the new Lt. may still be lacking.

I have one resident for whom I’ll actually go out of my way to get a cup of coffee. He’s exceptionally bright, funny, compassionate, and willing to work with the nurses. In fact, he’s one of the few who learned early on to talk with, and listen to, the nurses. We like docs like that. Too bad he’s leaving in two weeks!
