		<description>Oh yes, I&#039;ve treated you!  Most of the nurses I work with refer to a patient with a birth plan as &quot;today&#039;s c-section.&quot;  Pessimistic bunch, aren&#039;t they?  As the staff granola mom I love to see women who are educated and in control of their labor experience, whatever the outcome.  Glad to see you had a good experience come out of an unexpexcted situation.

		<description>Thank you for a great story.  I&#039;m tired of young mothers in my area who continue to say that the hospital experience is all negative. It can be, like anything can, but I have not known that to be the truth in our area at all.

I&#039;m had natural childbirth twice in a birthing chair in a hospital setting. It was a very good balance of a safe and &quot;natural&quot; birth experience although I wouldn&#039;t want to wish back labor without pain meds on anybody.  I don&#039;t think I&#039;d ever want to give birth at home and am very grateful for the medical care and good nursing I received.
