It’s about being human. We nurses do our best, but sometimes the human in us comes out and we are less than professional at times.
Or maybe that’s just me :) Anyway, if you’ve had a human moment as a nurse, I’d love to hear about it. Even if you don’t have a nursing blog and want to write something, feel free to submit and I’ll post it in entirety.

I have been an Intensive Care nurse for 11 years. This blog is about my experiences as a nurse, and the experiences of others in the healthcare system - patients, nurses, doctors, paramedics. We all have stories!

I am a nursing instructor in Maryland and I wanted to be one of the first to wish you ALL a Happy Nurses’ Week, 2009! I appreciate EVERY nurse’s hard work. I’ve been working in Nursing since 1884 and I am so frustrated about the lack of recognition and appreciation in Nursing. I got mad enough to write a book which finally does. I though you might like to know about it. It’s called “Nurses Are From Heaven”. Working since 1984 makes me feel so old, yet eligible to share some sage ideas in a book. Thank you for all your contributions to our great profession and may God bless you in all you do.
