FYI its accomplished using ACRONYM tags.  You define the dottedline in the stylesheet, then when you need a definition you surround the word in acronym tags.  &lt;acronym title=&quot;definition&quot;&gt;word&lt;/acronym&gt;  I think its limited to 256 words though.

		<description>I can&#039;t control how long the definition stays on the screen, and I realize that some don&#039;t stay up there long enough to read all the way.  Just move your cursor away, then back to the word to have it defined again.
